Financial Support

We believe that all kids should be given the opportunity to experience the positive benefits of organized sports.  

Families applying for financial assistance, remember to apply early!

Available Programs: 

Jumpstart provides support to children to remove financial barriers that prevent them from playing organized sport. When you apply, ensure you list the Meridian Soccer Association as the organization you are registering with so that your fees are forwarded to the correct association to which you owe your fees. You are required to send the confirmation email to our treasurer at treasurer@meridiansoccer.ca

KidSport Lloydminster provides grants to help cover the costs of registration fees so that all kids ages 5-18 years in Lloydminster can play a season of sport. Apply for a KidSport grant here.

When registering for programming through Meridian Soccer RAMP Registration:

• To complete your registration, select Jumpstart or Kidsport (the program you applied to) as your payment method.
• You must enter your application date or ID number given when processing your financial assistance application.
• You must confirm your funding application by emailing treasurer@meridiansoccer.ca and registrar@meridiansoccer.ca a copy of your confirmed application from the funding source within 24 hours of registering. Use the subject "Funding Application." 
  • Participation will not be permitted until confirmation is received.
• If Meridian Soccer has not yet received a copy of your approved funding letter, an initial down payment is required to secure your spot. 
• If funding does not fully cover the player fees, the fees must be paid or arrangements must be made with the treasurer before player participation.

Due to privacy laws, funding organizations cannot provide this information to the Club on your behalf.
