Outdoor 2026 Program Information

Welcome to Meridian Soccer!

Whether it’s your first season or far from it, we are happy to have you. 

Meridian Soccer offers programming for ages 2 - 16, including a skills academy and a goalkeeping academy.

PROGRAM INFORMATION

• Parent & Tot Kindersoccer (Ages 2-3)

  Introduce your little one to the joys of soccer with our Kindersoccer program, designed especially for toddlers ages 2-3. 
  This engaging, parent-and-tot program is the perfect way to bond with your child while helping them develop basic motor skills and a love for the game.
• Development Program - Under 5 - Under 9

  There is no tiering or selection process, but our technical coaches will work to balance the teams evenly.
  Programming is held twice a week and is led by parent volunteers, with on-field support from Club Head Coaches Zach Wagner and Doyle Church.
• Recreation League - Non-Travel - Under 10 - Under 11 - Under 12

  This program does not include tiering or a selection process and is intended for players who are not participating on a travel team.
  Players will be placed into teams based on overall registration numbers.
  Teams will have two games per week, led by parent coach volunteers, with on-field support from Club Head Coaches Zach Wagner and Doyle Church.
• Recreation League - Non-Travel - Under 13 - Under 14 - Under 15

  This program does not include tiering or a selection process and is intended for players who are not participating on a travel team.

• Recreation Travel Team Program - Under 10 - Under 11 - Under 12 - Under 13 - Under 14 - Under 15

  All players interested in joining a travel team must register for and attend evaluations to be considered for team selection.
  Players will be assessed during evaluations and placed based on their development, skill level, and experience. Following evaluations, players will be assigned to either a travel team or the recreation league.
  The travel team program requires a higher level of commitment and greater costs than the recreation league. Travel team players are expected to attend two practices per week and to participate in out-of-town tournaments and events throughout the season.

• Skills Academy - U6 to U15

  This program is ideal for players of all skill levels who want to develop their soccer abilities in a fun and supportive environment. Sessions include a variety of drills and activities focused on improving dribbling, passing, shooting, and defensive skills.
  Each session is designed to build confidence, encourage teamwork, support overall player development, and ensure participants have an enjoyable experience.
  The program is led by Doyle Church.
• Goalkeeper Skills Academy - U9 to U15

  This program is designed for players ages 9-15 who want to develop essential goalkeeping skills in a fun and supportive environment. It is suitable for players at all experience levels, whether they are new to the position or looking to refine their technique.
  Participants will work through focused drills and activities that build shot-stopping, diving, positioning, and distribution skills. Each session is structured to build confidence, encourage teamwork, and support overall player development.
  The program is led by Zach Wagner.

 Evaluations

• If your child is underage but would like to be considered for evaluations with the age group above them, please email registrar@meridiansoccer.ca to request to be a part of the evaluations. A $25 evaluation fee will be applied to your account.
• Players interested in joining a travel team must register, pay, attend evaluations and be assessed. Based on their development and experience, they will be placed on either a Travel Team or in the Recreation League. The travel team program has higher costs than the Recreation League, and participants are expected to attend two practices per week, out-of-town tournaments and events.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Registration Deadline
Registration closes on March 8. Registrations submitted on or after March 9 will incur a $25 late fee.

Evaluations
Evaluations are scheduled for March 14. More details HERE.

Outstanding Fees
All outstanding fees from previous seasons must be paid prior to participating in the 2026 Outdoor Season. Your RAMP account may be locked if fees remain unpaid.
If your account is locked, please contact the Club Administrator at registrar@meridiansoccer.ca to make the necessary arrangements.

Registration Fees
All players are charged the base registration fee at the time of registration based on their year of birth.
For players in the Recreation League (Non-Travel), this is the only fee required for the season.

Players wishing to be considered for a travel team must select the “Tryout Package” and attend evaluations.

Jersey
Every player will receive a new jersey for the 2026 Outdoor Season. The cost of the jersey is included in the registration fee, and players keep their jersey.

Payment Information

Registration payments are due within 48 hours of registering and may be made using the following methods:

• Credit Card

  Payments can be made through your RAMP account during registration or at any time after by logging in and selecting your outstanding balance. Please note that a 2% processing fee applies to all credit card payments.
• E-transfer

  No password is required, and please place your child/children's name in the memo.
• KidSport

  To complete your registration, you must enter your KidSport or Jumpstart application date or reference/ID number.
  Within 24 hours of registering, you must email a copy of your confirmed funding application to registrar@meridiansoccer.ca. Participation will not be permitted until confirmation has been received.
  If Meridian Soccer has not yet received funding approval or payment, an initial down payment will be required to secure your player’s spot.

  Please note that, due to privacy regulations, funding organizations cannot release application information to the Club on your behalf.

• Jumpstart

  To complete your registration, you must enter your KidSport or Jumpstart application date or reference/ID number.

  If Meridian Soccer has not yet received funding approval or payment, an initial down payment will be required to secure your player’s spot.

• Payment Arrangements

  If you require a payment arrangement, you must contact the Club Administrator at registrar@meridiansoccer.ca immediately after registering to discuss available options. 
  A minimum of 50% of the total registration fee must be paid prior to the season start date. Players will not be permitted to participate until this requirement has been met.

VOLUNTER | COACHING OPPORTUNITIES

Meridian Soccer is seeking dedicated volunteers for the upcoming season, including head coaches, assistant coaches, team managers, and other support roles.

Our programs are built on the strength of parent and community involvement. Volunteers play a vital role in creating a positive, supportive, and development-focused environment for our players. No prior coaching experience is required. We provide guidance, resources, and support to help you succeed.

Head coaches who complete all required certifications and lead a minimum of 80% of scheduled training sessions will receive a refund of their child’s registration fees at the end of the season.

Refund Policy 

• During the online registration period (Opening date - March 8): 25% non-refundable administration fee will be withheld.
• After registration closes (March 8), no refunds will be issued as funds are then committed to MSA and SSA.
